A Little Story in China

A bus full of passengers was traveling on hilly road.
Midway through the journey, 3 armed thugs was eyeing the pretty young lady bus driver.
They forced the bus to stop and wanted to have fun with the driver!
The woman driver naturally shouted for help, but all the rest of the passengers just kept quiet. Except…a weakly looking middle-aged man came forth to ask the 3 men to stop; but he was instead beaten up.
The man was very angry and appealed loudly to the other passengers to stop this uncivilized act but nobody responded. And the driver was dragged down by the 3 men to the bushes nearby.
An hour later, the 3 thugs and the ruffled driver came back to the bus and the driver is ready to drive off again...
'Hey you, get down the bus!' the woman driver shouted to the man who tried to assist her earlier on.
The man was bewildered and said: 'What's wrong with you? I was trying to save you just now and was I wrong in doing so?'
'You save me? What have you done to save me?'
The driver retorted, and a few of the passengers were quietly laughing away.
The man was really pissed off. Even though he did not have the power to save her, he should not be given this treatment at all.. He refused to get down the bus and said; 'I paid for the trip and I have the right to remain seated here!
The driver put on a grim face and said: 'If you don't get down, the bus will not move on.'
What was unexpected was that the passengers, who were oblivious to the barbaric act of the thugs just now, suddenly woke up and in a concerted effort asked the man to get down the bus saying:
'You might as well get off the bus, we have things to attend to and cannot afford anymore delays!'
A few stronger passenger were indeed trying to drag the man down the bus.
The 3 thugs were smiling knowingly at each other and commented: 'We must have done a great job to the lady!'
After much ado, the man's luggage was thrown out the bus window and he was ousted out of the bus.
The bus started on its journey again. The driver straightened up her hair and turned the radio to full volume.
The bus was reaching the hill top and will go downhill after a turn.
The right side of the bus was facing an unfathomable cliff…
The speed of the bus increased promptly. The driver's face was very calm with both hands gripping tight on the steering wheel. Tears started to swell in her eyes...
One of the thug realized something amiss and said to the driver:
'Drive slowly, what are you trying to do?'
The driver said nothing, but the bus traveled faster and faster.
The thug tried to grip hold of the steering wheel, but the bus shoot towards the cliff like an arrow leaving the bow.
The next day, the local paper reported a tragic accident at the 'Tiger Taming Hill' region.
A medium sized bus fell through the cliff and the driver and the 13 passengers were all killed.
The man who was chased down the bus saw the paper and cried. Nobody knew what was he crying about and why he cried!

If you were the Man , what you should do!?

Steve Jobs

“No one wants to die, Even people who want to go to heaven don’t want to die to get there.
And yet death is the destination we all share.
No one has ever escaped it. And that is as it should be, because death is very likely the single best invention of Life.
It is Life’s change agent. It clears out the old to make way for the new.
Right now the new is you, but someday not too long from now, you will gradually be one the old and be cleared away. Sorry to be so dramatic, but it is quite True."

Two touching Stories

Story 1:
There was once this guy who was very much in love with his girl.
This romantic guy folded 1,000 pieces of paper cranes as a gift to his girl.
Although, at that time he was just a small fry in his company, his future doesn't seem too bright, they were very happy together. Until one day, his girl told him she was going to Paris and will never come back. She also told him that she cannot visualize any future for the both of them, so they went their own ways there and then... Heartbroken, the guy agreed. But when he regained his confidence, he worked hard day and night, slogging his body and mind just to make something out of himself.
Finally with all the hard work and the help of friends, this guy had set up his own company. You never fail until you stop trying. One rainy day, while this guy was driving, he saw an elderly couple sharing an umbrella in the rain walking to some destination. Even with the umbrella, they were still drenched. It didn't take him long to realize they were his girl's parents.
With a heart in getting back at them, he drove slowly beside the couple, wanting them to spot him in his luxury sedan. He wanted them to know that he wasn't the same any more; he had his own company, car, condo, etc.
He made it! What he saw next confused him, the couple was walking towards a cemetery, and so he got out of his car and followed ... and he saw his girl, a photograph of her smiling sweetly as ever at him from her tombstone and he saw his paper cranes right beside her...
Her parents saw him. He asked them why this had happened. They explained, she did not leave for France at all.
She was ill with cancer. She had believed that he will make it someday, but she did not want to be his obstacle ... therefore she had chosen to leave him. Just because someone doesn't love you the way you want them to, doesn't mean they don't love you with all they have.
She had wanted her parents to put his paper cranes beside her, because, if the day comes when fate brings him to her again ... he can take some of those back with him... Once you have loved, you will always love. For what's in your mind may escape but what's in your heart will remain forever.
The guy just wept.....The worst way to miss someone is to be sitting right beside her knowing you can't have her, see her or be with her ever again.........hope you understand. Find time to realise that there is one person who means so much to you, for you might wake up one morning losing that person who you thought meant nothing to you.
Story 2: KINDNESS Pays !
One day, a poor boy who was selling goods from door to door to pay his way through school, found he had only one thin dime left, and he was hungry.
He decided he would ask for a meal at the next house.
However, he lost his nerve when a lovely young woman opened the door. Instead of a meal he asked for a drink of water.
She thought he looked hungry so brought him a large glass of milk He drank it slowly, and then asked, "How much do I owe you?" "You don't owe me anything," she replied "Mother has taught us never to accept payment for a kindness." He said... "Then I thank you from my heart."
As Howard Kelly left that house, he not only felt stronger physically, but his faith in God and man was strong also. He had been ready to giveup and quit.

Years later that young woman became critically ill. The local doctors were baffled. They finally sent her to the big city, where they called in specialists to study her rare disease. Dr. Howard Kelly was called in for the consultation.
When he heard the name of the town she came from, a strange light filled his eyes. Immediately he rose and went down the hall of the hospital to her room. Dressed in his doctor's gown he went in to see her.
He recognized her at once. He went back to the consultation room determined to do his best to save her life. From that day he gave special attention to the case. After a long struggle, the battle was won. Dr. Kelly requested the business office to pass the final bill to him for approval.
He looked at it, then wrote something on the edge and the bill was sent to her room. She feared to open it, for she was sure it would take the rest of her life to pay for it all. Finally, she looked, and something caught her attention on the side as she read these words......"Paid in full with one glass of milk." (Signed) Dr. Howard Kelly.

Tears of joy flooded her eyes as her happy heart prayed: "Thank You, GOD, that Your love has spread abroad through human hearts and hands."

The Irreplaceable Void

4 years ago, an accident took my beloved away and very often I wonder, how does my wife, who is now in the heavenly realm, feel right now? She must be feeling extremely sad for leaving a husband who is incapable to taking care of the house and the kid. Because that is the exact feeling that I have, as I feel that I have failed to provide for the physical and emotional needs of my child, and failed to be the good dad and mum for my child.
There was one particular day, when I had an emergency at work. Hence, I had to leave home whilst my child was still sleeping. So thinking that there was still rice leftovers, I hastily cooked an egg and left after informing my sleepy child.
With the double roles, I am often exhausted at work as well as when I am home. So after the long day, I came home, totally exhausted. So with just a brief hug and kiss for my child, I went straight into the room, skipping dinner. I jumped into my bed with intention of just having a well-deserved sleep, all I heard and felt was broken porcelain and warm liquid! I flipped open my blanket, and there lies the source of the 'problem'... a broken bowl with instant noodles and a mess on the bed sheet and blanket!

Man, was I mad! I was so furious that I took a clothes hanger, charged straight at my child who was happily playing with his toy, and give him a good spanking! He merely cried but not asking for mercy, except a short explanation:
"Dad, I was hungry and there wasn't anymore leftover rice. But you were not back yet, hence I wanted to cook some instant noodles. But I remembered you reminding me not to touch or use the gas stove without any adults around, hence I turned on the shower and used the hot water from the bathroom to cook the noodles. One is for you and the other is for me. I was afraid that the noodles will turn cold, so I hid it under the blanket to keep it warm till you return. But I forgot to remind you 'cos I was playing with my toys...I am sorry Dad..."
At that moment, tears were starting to run down my cheeks...but I didn't want my son to see his dad crying so I dashed into the bathroom and cried with the shower head on to mask my cries. After that episode, I went towards my son to give him a tight hug and applied medication on him, while coaxing him to sleep. Then, it was time to clear up the mess on the bed. When everything was done and well past midnight, I passed my son's room, and saw that he was still crying, not from the pain on his little buttock, but from looking at the photograph of his beloved mummy.
A year has passed since that episode, I have tried, in this period, to focus on giving him both the love of his dad and mum, and to attend to most of his needs. And soon, he is turning seven, and will be graduating from kindergarten. Fortunately, the incident did not leave a lasting impression on his childhood memories and he is still happily growing up.
However, not so long ago, I hit my boy again, with much regret. This time, his kindergarten teacher called, informing me of my son's absence from school. I took off early from work and went home, expecting him to explain. But he wasn't to be found, so I went around our house, calling out his name and eventually found him outside a stationery shop, happily playing computer games. I was fuming, brought him home and whack the hell out of him. He did not retaliate, except to say, 'I am sorry, Dad'. But after much probing, I realized that it was a 'Talent Show' organized by his school and the invite is for every student's mummy. And that was the reason for his absence as he has no mummy...
Few days after the caning, my son came home to tell me, the kindergarten has recently taught him how to read and write. Since then, he has kept to himself and stayed in his room to practise his writing, which I am sure, would make my wife proud, if she was still around. 'Because he makes me proud too!
Time passes by very quickly, and soon another year has passed. It's winter, and its Christmas time. Everywhere the Christmas spirit is in every passer-by...Christmas carols and frantic shoppers....but alas, my son got into another trouble. When I was about to knock off from the day's work, the post office called. Due to the peak season, the post master was also on an edgy mood. He called to tell me that my son has attempted to post several letters with no addressee. Although I did make a promise never to hit my son again, I couldn't help but to hit him as I feel that this child of mine is really beyond control. Once again, as before, he apologized, ' I'm sorry, Dad' and no additional reason to explain. I pushed him towards a corner, went to the post office to collect the letters with no addressee and came home, and angrily questioned my son on his prank, during this time of the year.
His answer, amidst his sobbing, was : The letters were for Mummy.
My eyes grew teary, but I tried to control my emotions and continued to ask him: " But why did you post so many letters, at one time?" My son's reply was: "I have been writing to mummy for a long time, but each time I reach out for the post box, it was too high for me, hence I was not able to post the letters. But recently, when I went back to the postbox, I could reach it and I sent it all at once..."
After hearing this, I was lost. Lost at not knowing what to do, what to say......
I told my son, "Son, mummy is in the heavenly Kingdom, so in future, if you have anything to tell her, just burn the letter and it will reach mummy. My son, on hearing this, was much pacified and calm, and soon after, he was sleeping soundly. On promising that I will burn the letters on his behalf, I brought the letters outside, but could not help opening the letter before they turn to ash.
And one of the letters broke my heart....
Dear Mummy,
I miss you so much! Today, there was a 'Talent Show' in school, and the school invited all mothers for the show. But you are not around, so I did not want to participate as well. I did not tell Dad about it as I was afraid that Dad would start to cry and miss you all over again. Dad went around looking for me, but in order to hide my sadness, I sat in front of the computer and started playing games at one of the shops. Dad was furious, and he could not help it but scolded and hit me, but I did not tell him the real reason. Mummy, everyday I see Dad missing you and whenever he think of you, he is so sad and often hide and cry in his room. I think we both miss you very much. Too much for our own good I think. But Mummy, I am starting to forget your face. Can you please appear in my dreams so that I can see your face and remember you? I heard that if you fall asleep with the photograph of the person whom you miss, you will see the person in your dreams. But mummy, why haven’t you appear?
After reading the letter, I can’t stop sobbing. 'For I can never replace the irreplaceable gap left behind by my wife....

Condominium for the Live and Death

South Manila Green Cemetery or simple “South Cemetery” was given to the new cemetery for southern part of the city of manila, opened at San Pedro, Makati, Rizal Province in the year 1925.
There is limited land space for human being living in Manila, there isn’t anything better after death…as there is only two cemetery for Manila.
Solution is to stack up one on top the other… I saw the new condominium in construction, there are roughly 15 storey…And I heard that there is three level under ground. So all up o be 18 levels. It would be no good for Chinese who can not enter Heaven. Well, I hope that al the death would go Heaven… and living there happily forever, is what everyone is looking for a final destination of life…
There are a lot of rich people like to build beautiful Houses for their pass-away family members in the cemetery, and there are many poor people staying there! That was unbelievable. I saw a young school kid trying to climb into the cemetery.. May be he was trying to go Play there of going to his place he stay?
Today, we have to get hold of your available of time and live HAPPILY with our Family, beloved one! And try to help other who may not have a house and HAS to stay with the death… There is such kind of people around us.
How much you donate kids when you fly CX? That may be enough for your next meal, a cup of coffee.. but to the one who reveive the donation, their life might be changed!

Decorative Seat Belt

Tucker was the first car utilizing the revolution seat belt as a proactive life saving device, but after 65 years, we still can see a lot of people not being able to understanding the importance of the Safety beat. This is Manila, for almost every professional drivers do not like to use the seat belt, only when they are going pass toll station or police block. They pull the belt in front of the body…to SHOW to police.
On the back seat we can find the seat belt but not the socket… That really disappointing us.
Hope that the Taxi driver and taxi company would learn how to take care their passengers by providing them full function of seat belt.
